Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the online Master of Science of Social Work, you must meet the following requirements:
Advanced Standing (BSW students):
- Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited institution
- Graduation from a CSWE-accredited program. A course in statistics AND research methods is required
- Graduate school application fee of $60MSW application form with essays
- Three letters of recommendation
- A fourth recommendation from field instructor
- Resume
- 3.00 overall GPA or 3.25 overall GPA in last 60 hours (“B-” in each social work course)
- Documentation of outstanding performance in a BSW field experience
Traditional (Non-BSW Students):
- Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited institution (non-social work bachelor’s degree needs substantial preparation in the liberal arts, including the social sciences, humanities, research, and human biology).
- A course in statistics AND research methods is required.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the online Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice, you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Complete and submit Application Form
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Written Statement of Purpose: 500-word essay addressing relevance of your professional experience to public health, describing your career objectives and outlining your interest in graduate study.
- Updated resume or CV
- 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA or 3.0 in last 60 credit hours
- 3 years of professional experience in public health or a related field. Students without professional experience or with a cumulative GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be considered with submission of standardized test scores (GRE, GMAT, MCAT).
- Course in Statistics.
- International applicants for whom English is not their first language must submit TOEFL scores.
ONLINE MASTER OF SCIENCE IN CYBERSECURITY

Admission Requirements
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution.
- Applicants having minimum GPA of 2.75 and computer science minor equivalency or better will be directly admitted into the core program.
- Applicants not having the minimum computer science minor equivalency or with GPA below 2.75 will be considered for admission into the bridge program (two bridge courses) before taking the core courses.
- Bridge program candidates must successfully complete (as per UNR Graduate School Policy) two bridge courses (6 units) before starting core classes (30 units).

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the online Master of Accountancy program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting
- Applicants with a degree from an AACSB-accredited school and minimum GPA of 2.75 and B or better in all accounting courses.
- Applicants with a degree from any other regionally-accredited school must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and B or better in all accounting courses.
- Undergraduate degree in other fields
- Applicants with an undergraduate degree in fields other than Accounting with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience will be required to complete up to six courses in the Background program and will be required to maintain a grade of B or better in the Background program before matriculating into the Core program.

To be eligible for admission into the online Master of Science in Business Analytics program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum 2.75 GPA in the last two years of undergraduate study
- English language proficiency
- Prerequisite courses:
- Undergraduate course in Statistics
- Introduction to Information Systems (which includes MS Office and Excel)
- Bootcamp: All students who are admitted to the MSBA program are required to successfully complete the preprogram, self-paced, non-credit, free of cost MSBA Skills Bootcamp.
