Ryan currently serve as the primary instructor for the Accounting Research course. After college, Ryan was fortunate to become a member of the Las Vegas PwC office as part of the Assurance (audit) department. During his time at the firm, he was exposed to a variety of accounting issues that required accounting research skills to ascertain the appropriate accounting treatment. Many of the research issues incorporated the skill set taught in Accounting Research, from authoritative sources like the FASB codification to non-authoritative sources like firm white papers. He has first-hand experience that the toolkit students obtain from this class has significant real-world applications and gives students the skills to positively impact their careers.
