Elizabeth Fuerherm, Ph.D., CPA
Elizabeth Fuerherm, Ph.D., CPA teaches Audit. She earned her Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Kansas in 2015. Her audit research has been published in Accounting, Organizations and Society and in the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy.
Early in her career, Dr. Fuerherm was an audit manager at EY, primarily working with large public company audits in US GAAP and IFRS. After earning her doctorate, she was a Vice President of Operations at Goldman Sachs where she worked across various teams, including Income & Expense and Settlements, with a focus on improving and enhancing processes and controls.
